Nashville based musical artist, singer/songwriter and producer Eric Coomer is an artist unafraid to explore the full spectrum of human experience in his music, from the beauty and joy to the raw, uncomfortable truths of life. Raised in Kentucky, the son of a United Methodist pastor and a celebrated elementary music teacher, Eric has been immersed in music since childhood. He began writing and performing at just twelve years old, developing a distinctive voice that blends emotional authenticity with musical innovation.
A multi-instrumentalist and talented producer, Coomer’s DIY music runs the gambit from the singer/songwriter stylings of The Vast Configuration of Things EP and many singles to the haunting 80's synth musical score of The Horror Motion Picture Score (a soundtrack that has no film) or the synthwave pop of "DeLorean Nights" to the fuzzy post-punk of American Polemic. Never content to follow the crowd, his work continually pushes boundaries and expectations.
Over the years, Eric has shared the stage with an eclectic mix of artists, including The Band Perry, Tiffany, Colony House, Jukebox the Ghost, Futureman (of Béla Fleck & The Flecktones), and Cavo, further solidifying his reputation as an artist who defies genre boundaries.
